Bebés Tiriru was born almost without me realizing it.
I am a mother of eight children and, as you can imagine, at home we have always been surrounded by toys, dolls, baby clothes, stuffed animals, and all that little universe that accompanies a large family.
About a year ago, I was looking for a realistic baby doll for Jimena, the youngest of the house. I wanted to find one that would truly excite her, something beautiful and special that she would want to take care of and carry everywhere. And in my searching, I discovered this world.
I entered out of curiosity… and I ended up completely in love.
Since then, for me, working with these babies is almost like playing with dolls every day. Choosing them, dressing them, preparing their outfits, taking their photos, looking for accessories, thinking about how to present them… It is a part of the job that I enjoy immensely.
And I am also lucky enough to share it with Carlota, my daughter.
Bebés Tiriru is a family project that the two of us do together. We divide up tasks, share ideas, occasionally argue about which outfit looks better 😅 and, above all, we try to take care of every detail the way we would want it to be taken care of if we were the ones waiting for an order.
Because behind every purchase, there is a different story.
Sometimes it's a mother looking for a special gift for her daughter. Other times it's a person who collects dolls and has been looking for a specific baby for a long time. There are also those who simply fall in love with a little face and feel that that baby has to be theirs.
That is why we always try to put ourselves in the customer's shoes.
It matters to us that our photos clearly show what each baby is like, indicating their size and weight, explaining the materials, and preparing each order with so much care that opening the box is also part of the experience.
We don't want Bebés Tiriru to just be a doll shop.
We want it to be a beautiful corner where you can find realistic babies, clothes, and accessories chosen with love, where you can ask all your questions, and where you know that behind the screen, it's Carlota and me.
Two real people, a family behind it, and many hours of playing—because, honestly, sometimes this still feels more like playing with dolls than working. 🤍
